Biography

Shane Adams was born and raised in Las Vegas where he quit his life as a bank teller to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston. After moving to Nashville and working in various music industry positions, Shane became a member of Berklee's online extension school faculty where he teaches their lyric and songwriting courses.

He travels nationally to conduct his writing clinics. His ongoing workshop "My Song can Beat Up Your Song" has been adopted in Nashville by the Bongo Java After Hours workshop series.

Shane produces records, studies Aikido, plays boogie-woogie piano, is a tournament winning chess player, and occasionally considers renewing his expired Tennessee forklift license.
